Dog Gone Good Stuff!

Ar Mom was foolin arownd on da 'puter, wookin at udder 'blogs', and she finded a neet contest right here! So we is enterin it! All we gotta do is rite about why we tink we should win da contest, post back to da blog and hope reeeeeely hard dat we win!
So heer goes nuttin:
We tink we shud win dis contest cuz dere is lots ob good stuff tu be wun, fur wun thing, stuff dat is very speshul, just fur Shelties and da peeple hoo love us. Ok, ok, dey hab udder kinds ob dog stuff in dere tu, like books, an dishus, an toys. If yu wanna go look at da store it is called Doggonegood.com. It's ben a long time sens we had eny noo toys. we's underprivludgeded doggies. Plus we's reeeeeely cute doggies. Plus dere's tu ob us! So we tink we deserve tu win dis contest. Shetland Sheepdogs are one of the most wonderful breeds of dogs. Extremely intelligent, funloving, active dogs, they are very easy to train, are eager to please, and excell at obedience, agility, herding and are great therapy and companion animals. Generally they range in size from 13 inches to 17 inches and are medium in build. They come in a large range of colors, with the 'Lassie' sable and white being the most popular. Known as very vocal dogs, they make excellent watchdogs, and are very protective of their property. Yes they shed, mostly just once a year in large amounts, but some is to be expected year round. I've always felt that if a recipe didn't call for Sheltie fur, it ought to.

I have looked into feeding the girls an all raw diet, and it sure makes sense to me as a much more natural and nutritious way of feeding our carnivorous pets. The animals sure seem to love it! I did a bit of research and found a great book on the subject- "Natural Nutrition for Dogs and Cats" by Kymythy R. Schultze. I read it cover to cover, and it made perfect sense to me! So now the animals are enjoying raw meat, vegies, some raw chicken bones and a few additives and oils for extra nutrition. They absolutely love it!
